Availability and Studio Updates

Availability Update…
JLM Studio is completely booked from late July through the end of August this year.  There is availability for one wedding in September and one in October.  I have been booking for 2012 and already have some clients I am really excited about!  April 28th seems to be a partictilarly popular day, with a few inquiries but so far it’s still up for grabs in 2012!  I expected the popular 4th of July weekends to go fast (in 2012 it would be June 30th and July 7) I already have the 7th booked.

Just a brief update, so if you are planning a 2012 wedding and love what you see here, please give me a call!

 

The Classic is still Classic….
JLM Studio’s three wedding packages are a great jumping-off point for couples to customize the coverage and products they want for their wedding day.  I have noticed that the Classic package always gets lots of attention, and we now have a ‘classic I’ and ‘classic II’ highlighting the two ways that clients have been customizing the most popular package.  For more info or to check out all of JLM Studio’s creative fees please contact me at jlm@jlm-studio.

I had the opportunity to work with Jen, a local artist who makes new, handmade jewelry out of antique pieces.  Her collection was stunning!  I totally admire anyone who becomes a mompreneur, creating a business out of a passion while also raising great kids (not an easy job itself!).  I will post again when Jen’s website is live so you can check it out!

Introducing Baby Parker!

Many of you saw me photographing weddings with a little extra weight this summer :)  Introducing the newest member of my family, Parker! Born in October, Parker is now almost three months old and doing great.  Besides making me a little behind on some blog posts, Parker is fitting in well and getting used to all of the photos that are constantly being taken of him.

Thanks For Noticing!

No doubt, after all of this work your wedding will be an incredible event and an emotionally-charged day.  Fortunately, you will have a wonderful photographer there to document it all!  In the days following your wedding, you will surely be saying “I can’t wait to see my photos!”.

I recently learned (from a few very happy clients!) that the turn around time at JLM Studio is something special.  My clients come home from their honeymoons and immediately jump on the computer to see their images and re-live the day.  I spend the 4 days following your wedding pouring over every image, getting each one to look amazing and post them online within 7-10 days.  I was surprised to learn that this is not the norm for all studios, and that some take as long as four months to give clients their images.  Creating a one-of-a kind experience for my clients isn’t easy, but that level of dedication being recognized and appreciated makes it all worthwhile!  Thanks for noticing!
