JLM Studio Documentary Photography

Heather and Scott were married on Cape Cod on a beach in Truro, with a reception at a private residence in Provincetown.  We had a chance to take some photos at Race Point Beach in Provincetown before the ceremony, which is beautiful not only because of the beaches but the grasses and buildings on the property.

Heather and Scott were so much fun to work with and even took it in stride when their feet started to get very wet during the “I Do’s” because of a small mix-up in tidal charts!  Yes, it was supposed to be going out, but who could plan it better to have the waves lapping at your toes during your wedding ceremony?  Their reception was equally as fun and romantic, with guests enjoying the view from their reception deck to sand dunes.

Jen and Ryan were married at the Brookside Club on a day that threatened rain and ended up being sunny!  Thank goodness because we were scheduled for almost an hour of photos at the beach near Jen’s parent’s home on the cape.  The weather even held out for their outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course and some family photos in that same spot.   Jen picked colors and flowers that really depicted being on the cape – and it all came together beautifully.  Congratulations to Jen and Ryan!

Ceremony and Reception:  The Brookside Club, Bourne MA

Chrissy and Mike were married on a perfect fall day on Cape Cod.  Their intimate beach wedding was followed by a reception in a working boathouse that I would describe as shabby-chic with an intimate, rustic charm.  The coordiator there, Reven, is great and I would definitely recommend calling her for your own event!
