I opened JLM Studio in 2004 and am still genuinely excited to meet new couples and be a part of their wedding experience. In the past 7 years I have been so thankful for amazing clients who trust my creative instinct and are thrilled with the final product. Part of this success is because I take a limited number of clients each year and strive to give them an amazing experience and fine-art products that quickly become family treasures.

Newport Wedding

Here are a few of my favorites from Shannon and Sean’s Newport wedding last weekend. What a beautiful day! The ceremony at Trinity Church was heartfelt and historic, after that we went to a few locations for portraits and then off to Regatta Place for the reception complete with rockin’ band and ice cream bar! The evening finished with Regatta Place’s boat, the Aurora, taking guests (all decked out in their newport-boating-best!) on a sunset sail – how romantic is that? Congrats to Shannon and Sean!

Availability and Studio Updates

Availability Update…
JLM Studio is completely booked from late July through the end of August this year. There is availability for one wedding in September and one in October. I have been booking for 2012 and already have some clients I am really excited about! April 28th seems to be a partictilarly popular day, with a few inquiries but so far it’s still up for grabs in 2012! I expected the popular 4th of July weekends to go fast (in 2012 it would be June 30th and July 7) I already have the 7th booked.

Just a brief update, so if you are planning a 2012 wedding and love what you see here, please give me a call!

The Classic is still Classic….
JLM Studio’s three wedding packages are a great jumping-off point for couples to customize the coverage and products they want for their wedding day. I have noticed that the Classic package always gets lots of attention, and we now have a ‘classic I’ and ‘classic II’ highlighting the two ways that clients have been customizing the most popular package. Shannon and Sean

Engagements

I met with Shannon and Sean who took me on the most romantic journey through East Providence, following all of the places that have significance in their relationship. The coffeeshop where they met; the boathouse where he rows; outside of their apartment; their favorite spot to catch a film – the list goes on! It was a wonderful opportunity for some great images that will be used in their wedding sign-in book, as well as for me to get to know them. Can’t wait for their wedding in a few short weeks!

I was recently contacted by Flowers by Steve about some images from a wedding back in the fall of 2009 that they would like for a new website. It’s always fun to go back and look at previous weddings.
